Hey guys Evan here with EZ custom Ag a little dark out this morning to shoot videos outside So we thought we’d bring it back into the whiteboard and talk a little bit about environoc 401 Or biocast so environoc 401 is the straight Microbes where a biocast actually has the food source.
So this can actually be broadcast two by two Different applications like that where this is more of an infrared product So if you watched last week, we were talking about meltdown or 501 Meltdown in our scenario is usually used in a in a broadcast form So we’re using the type of the food source So if you want to compare them 501 and 401 are in the same category Biocast and meltdown will be in the same category.
So what we’re going to do today is we’re kind of going to go over The same the same thing we did last week How many microbes we have working on each? category of nutrient and Kind of talk about how we how we use this product on the field So as you can see I’ve got a heavy load of nitrogen microbes in this have seven and two fixers and 15 of modifying bacteria So we’re really trying to Get the nitrogen ramped up
to that plant especially at the Starter time frame. So when we’re when we’re putting it in furrow with that seed We want to be able to get nitrogen fixed around those roots and get that little plant growing I’m a phosphorus.
It’s the same way. I know a lot of starters that we see, you know, you got a 624 6 915 3 I think is one that’s around here 918 9 There’s a lot of They’re all nitrogen phosphorus and potassium but there’s always a lot of phosphorus in those products.
So we have six that solubilize phosphorus for us five that are going to solubilize the potassium One for sulfur and two for zinc. So we really like to use this product in furrow to to break down And solubilize the nutrients right there at the root zone zone.
Instead of putting so much emphasis on the liquid fertilizer portion like we have in the past, you know, we were running eight gallons of the 318, 18 or six gallon,
five gallon. We’ve worked down here on our farm, we’re actually using between two and three gallons of 318, 18 in furrow. And then we’re using the Environoc 401 to bring more of that nutrition out of the soil that we’ve applied in the fall or early spring and make it available to the plant.
More of a natural move. And also it’s not very expensive as all of the starter fertilizers we’ve been using.
We’re getting great results out of these products, both meltdown like we talked about last week and Environok 401 getting, returning the nutrients that we’ve already spent the money on back to the plant.
Another thing, the flexibility. So another thing I can write up here is Environok ST. Okay, so a lot of guys for soybeans,
they’re wanting inoculants. We’re able to put Environok ST on as a soybean inoculant through our trader or through your trader, however you’re set up and get your inoculant right on the seed,
but you’re also getting all of these benefits. The Environok ST is a different concentration than the 401, but you’re still getting all of these microbes and getting all the benefits of the Environok 401.
401 is obviously our info program, like I said, makes a very nice product, mixes with fertilizers, all your different insecticides that we’ve used so far. There’s always that one out there that we have it mixed with.
So please be sure to do a jar test, but very easy to mix products. And then BioCast for the guys that either don’t have a trader, don’t have somebody that will put it on, don’t have Environok,
in furrow, we’re going two by two or broadcast so if you’re spraying a burn known application right after your planning this is a beautiful product to mix in with that herbicide pass and get it across the whole field.
So there’s a lot of different ways to get this 401 team of biology into your field to get to working for you. So be sure to give it a thought when you are making your decisions for seed treatments in furrow,
two by two or burn down pass. Great talking to you guys today we’ll see you next time in front of the whiteboard.
