Built on Service. Still Built on the Farm.
EZ Custom Ag started with two farmers, one sprayer and a simple idea: growers deserved better timing, practical service and people who understood what a day on the farm actually looks like.
Two Farmers. One Business. A Better Way to Serve Growers.
EZ Custom Ag was founded in 2019 by Evan Schaefer and Zach Monroe as equal partners. Both were farming, both understood the pressure around timing, and both saw an opportunity to build an agricultural business around responsiveness and relationships instead of simply moving product.
The company started with a high-clearance sprayer and custom application. The goal was straightforward: show up when the crop needed it, communicate clearly and treat a customer's acres with the same care we would want on our own farm.
That service mindset is still the foundation today. The business has grown into seed, crop inputs, custom seed treating, Baseline Rx, agronomy support and practical farm tools — but the standard behind all of it has stayed the same.
EZ Means Evan + Zach.
The name was never meant to sound corporate. It came directly from the two people who started the company. Evan and Zach remain equal co-owners, active farmers and the people ultimately responsible for the way EZ Custom Ag serves its customers.
More Capabilities. Same Practical Mindset.
We have added services and product lines when they gave growers a better way to solve a real problem — not simply because we wanted a longer catalog.
Custom Application
The work that got EZ Custom Ag started and taught us how much timing, communication and execution matter.
Seed & Crop Inputs
Seed, fertility, biologicals, crop nutrition and crop-protection products selected around practical farm needs.
Seed Treating
Custom treatment options for growers and dealers, with standard protection plus inoculants, SCN protection, biologicals and nutritionals.
Agronomy & Data
Baseline Rx, advanced soil information, agronomy support and free farm tools that help turn information into better decisions.
We Still Have to Make Decisions on Our Own Acres.
EZ Custom Ag is not separated from production agriculture by an office wall. We still plant, spray, scout and harvest. We still deal with weather delays, narrow application windows, input costs and the uncertainty that comes with every growing season.
That keeps our recommendations grounded. A product, test or program should have a reason to be there. Better information should lead to a better decision. And a recommendation should make sense when the person paying for it is also the person taking the risk.
A Small Team With Real Agricultural Experience.
Customers should know who they are dealing with. Our team brings together active farming, agronomy, sales, soil-health experience and decades of work directly with growers.

Old-Generation Values Without Old-Generation Thinking.
Agriculture keeps changing. The technology should change with it. The way people are treated should not.
Custom application is still part of EZ Custom Ag. It is no longer the only thing we do — and it is not the loudest part of the website — but the service that started the company still matters to us.
If you have an application need, call us. We would rather have the conversation and see whether we can help than make a potential customer assume the answer is no.
Bring Us the Question You Are Trying to Solve.
Whether it starts with seed, fertility, soil information, a product question or something happening in the field, we are happy to talk through it and help find the next practical step.
